Bible Text: Daniel 1:1-21 |

This sermon takes a look at Daniel chapter 1 and is the first of a six-part series in the book of Daniel.

We've entitled this series Inside The Lion's Den with reference to what is probably the most well-known story in the book as we hear the story of Daniel again and hear what it teaches us about living in an environment where Christian values and norms are not the values and norms of the surrounding culture.

Daniel chapter 1 sets the scene and shows us that there are three things we need to know if we want to live well for God in our own context. We need to know where we live, how to live where we live, and why we live how we live where we live.

Bible Text: Lamentations 1:1-22 |

In this study on the first chapter of Lamentations we look at how the Bible conceives of sin and try and make sense of it's definitions within a culture that is largely amoral and pluralistic.
